Dr. DeAnna Lynn Nix is a visionary leader, dynamic speaker, ordained evangelist, and retired federal executive whose life and career span more than 35 years of service, leadership, and impact.
A United States Army veteran who served three years of active duty as a combat medic — earning the prestigious Expert Field Medical Badge (EFMB) — Dr. Nix went on to build a distinguished 25-year career as a federal civil servant specializing in real estate and master planning. Apart from three years with the Department of the Air Force, the entirety of her federal career was with the United States Army, most recently stationed at Fort Belvoir, Virginia. Among her many awards and decorations, she considers the Stalwart Award — the highest civilian service honor conferred by the Installation Management Command (IMCOM) — to be her most prized professional achievement, awarded in recognition of her dedication to excellence and inspirational team spirit.
Beyond her federal service, Dr. Nix is an explosive and sought-after speaker known for her fiery delivery, authentic transparency, and extraordinary ability to connect with people from every walk of life. She is the founder of N.A.M.E. – Not At My Expense™, a transformational speaking platform calling people to “Dominate Without Dying” — a movement fueling resilience, identity, and purpose-driven living. Her work has made a lasting impact on at-risk communities, underserved populations, and leaders across both the marketplace and ministry.
Dr. Nix's faith journey is the cornerstone of everything she does. After enduring years of abuse, abandonment, and the hollow pursuit of worldly success, she accepted the gift of Salvation on June 9, 1996, through a life-changing encounter with God. She answered her call to ministry in October 2003 and graduated from the Sonship School of the Firstborn in 2009. An ordained evangelist and member of Covenant Connections International, founded by Apostle Nate & Valerie Holcomb of the Christian House of Prayer in Killeen/Fort Hood, Texas, she was conferred a Doctorate in Christian Leadership and Business, with a minor in Sociology, from Core Kingdom University in 2021.
The passion of Minister DeAnna's ministry is rooted in the passion of her life in Christ: experiencing the depths of a real and intimate relationship with the Father, the Lord Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit each and every day.
DeAnna is the wife of Elder Kemanyi Nix and the proud mother of three children: Courtney Lynn, Kemanyi Joshua, and Victory Lynn. She is also the loving grandmother of JayLyn. She currently resides in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.
